Carpet Cleaning
For Carpet Cleaning, Onsite follows the direction of the carpet industry manufacturing leaders and uses Hot Water Extraction Method for most carpets. Also adhering to the IICRC S-100 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Carpet Cleaning we utilize the most up-to-date techniques for maintaining your carpet. Our steps include
- A pre-spray mix of surfacants and solvents is applied to the area to be cleaned. This ensures adequate dwell time for the chemical reaction to take place.
- For areas with evident food stains, a second enzyme pre-spray can be used.
Utilizing different pre-sprays ensure that whatever has soiled your carpets will be dissolved and thus become able to be rinsed away by the extraction cleaning to follow. When we rinse and vacuum-extract the carpet, the water contains only a natural detergent that is extracted with the soil. This results in residue-free carpets after the cleaning.
In most cases we use a Truck Mounted cleaning machine that is outside the home or office. We also utilize Portable Cleaning Systems for any job that is beyond the reach of a truck-mount. Onsite also has the ability to Dry Clean or ‘Shampoo’ a carpet if required. All of Onsite’s Carpet Cleaners are IICRC certified in Carpet Cleaning.
