Carpet Cleaning

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration CertificationFor Carpet Cleaning, Onsite follows the direction of the carpet industry manufacturing leaders and uses Hot Water Extraction Method for most carpets. Also adhering to the IICRC S-100 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Carpet Cleaning we utilize the most up-to-date techniques for maintaining your carpet. Our steps include

  1. A pre-spray mix of surfacants and solvents is applied to the area to be cleaned. This ensures adequate dwell time for the chemical reaction to take place.
  2. For areas with evident food stains, a second enzyme pre-spray can be used.

Utilizing different pre-sprays ensure that whatever has soiled your carpets will be dissolved and thus become able to be rinsed away by the extraction cleaning to follow. When we rinse and vacuum-extract the carpet, the water contains only a natural detergent that is extracted with the soil. This results in residue-free carpets after the cleaning.

In most cases we use a Truck Mounted cleaning machine that is outside the home or office. We also utilize Portable Cleaning Systems for any job that is beyond the reach of a truck-mount. Onsite also has the ability to Dry Clean or ‘Shampoo’ a carpet if required. All of Onsite’s Carpet Cleaners are IICRC certified in Carpet Cleaning.
